Soya Bean dry roast

Today I decided to share one among my favorite starter/appetizer. Any guesses on todays recipe?.Yes its nothing but soya bean dry roast.As you all know soyabeans adds a good source of protein and fibre to your diet.I personally prefer to have soya chunks fry recipe compared to gravy one.Indeed it is a simple, easy and healthy dry curry recipe which can be prepared without much vegetables yet delivers the amazing taste and nutritions. Lets move to the making of this appetising recipe.

INGREDIENTS

Soya mini chunks:1 1/2 cup

Green chilli : 2 in number

Onion. : 1 small onion

Ginger garlic paste:1 tablespoon

Curry leaves :

Tomato : 1 medium sized

Turmeric powder : 1/4 teaspoon

Chilli powder. : 1/2 tablespoon

Garam Masala : 1/2 teaspoon

Corriander powder : 1/3 teaspoon

Tomato ketchup. : 1 tablespoon (optional)

Salt : As per requirement

Oil : Any refined oil(2 -3 teaspoon)

INSTRUCTIONS :

Firstly,in a large vessel take enough water and add soya chunks.

Furthermore, cover and boil for 8 minutes, stirring in between.

Once the soya is cooked drain off the water and transfer it to a bowl of cold water.

Once it is cooled, make sure to squeeze the soya chunks inorder to remove the absorbed water.

Step 1 : Heat oil in pan and add ginger garlic paste.Saute until its raw smell disappears.

Step 2 :Add green chillies and curry leaves.Saute it well for 1 minute.

Step 3 :Add sliced onions and sauté till it turns golden brown.

Step 4 :Add all the masala powders and mix it well.Cook until its raw smell disappears.

Step 5 :Now add chopped tomatoes and cook well.Add salt according to your taste.

Step 6 :Serve hot with chappathi or rice
